Notes

Uruguayan pampas grass (Cortaderia selloana) is a grass for cut flowers and winter interest. It is hardy to USDA zone 8, or down to 10°F (-12°C). This plant likes full or part sun and dry to wet, sandy, loamy, or clay soil. It grows fast into an arching clump with silver white plumes above gold, yellow, and green leaves. Deer tend to browse other plants first. The grass tolerates drought and salt, so give it plenty of room.

Pairs well with Oleander, Lemongrass, and Live oak.
