Notes

'Valparaiso' lily (Lilium 'Valparaiso') is a bulb for borders, cut flowers, and containers. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full or part sun and average moisture. The yellow-orange blooms open in early to late summer and have ruffled petals with recurved tips. They are slightly fragrant and attract butterflies and hummingbirds. Gebr. Vletter en Den Haan bred it.

Pairs well with Indian Summer rudbeckia, Bowl of Beauty peony, and Ostrich fern.
