Notes

'Willamette' raspberry (Rubus idaeus var. strigosus 'Willamette') is a shrub for hedges, privacy screens, and food gardens. It is hardy to USDA zone 4, or down to -30°F (-34°C). This plant likes full or part sun, average moisture, and sandy, loamy, or clay soil. Its arching canes bloom in spring and summer, and the flowers attract bees, butterflies, and birds. It sits low on the menu for deer. Give the canes room to arch.

Pairs well with Chokeberry, Stargazer lily, and Cornflower.
