Notes
'Variegata' giant elephant's ear (Alocasia macrorrhizos 'Variegata') grows 24 to 48 inches tall and 24 to 36 inches wide. It is hardy to USDA zone 7, or down to 0°F (-18°C). This plant likes part sun. The thick, glossy green leaves have cream and white variegation and stand upright on rigid stems. Every leaf is different, so a large plant draws attention. It also makes a dramatic houseplant.
Pairs well with Cobra lily, White bigleaf hydrangea, and Euonymus.
