Notes

'Venus' canna (Canna 'Venus') is a bulb for borders, containers, and accents. It is hardy to USDA zone 6, or down to -10°F (-23°C). This plant likes full or part sun and average to wet, loamy or clay soil. The salmon-rose flowers are paler and mottled toward the throat, and they sit above green leaves. Hummingbirds visit the blooms, and the plant tolerates drought and salt.

Pairs well with Virginia sweetspire, Karl Foerster feather reed grass, and Autumn fern.
