Notes

'Versailles Mix' cosmos (Cosmos bipinnatus 'Versailles Mix') is an annual for borders, cut flowers, pollinator gardens, and cottage gardens. Frost will kill it, so set it out only after the last frost in spring. This plant likes full or part sun and dry to average, sandy, loamy, or clay soil. It grows fast to 40 to 48 inches tall and blooms in red, pink, and white. It was developed especially for cutting, and butterflies, bees, and birds visit the flowers. Deer usually look elsewhere for a meal.

Pairs well with Spitfire nasturtium, Red fescue, and Tidal Wave Cherry petunia.
