Notes
'Wardii' yew (Taxus × media 'Wardii') is an evergreen shrub for hedges. It is hardy to USDA zone 4, or down to -30°F (-34°C). This plant likes full or part sun and average moisture. It stays low, at 3 to 6 feet tall, but it spreads wide, from 8 to 20 feet. It does not flower, so it offers year-round green foliage.
Pairs well with Tree peony, Queen of Night tulip, Cotoneaster, and Comfrey.
