Notes

Comfrey (Symphytum uplandicum) is a perennial for naturalized areas. It is hardy to USDA zone 4, or down to -30°F (-34°C). This plant likes full or part sun and average moisture. It grows 36 to 48 inches tall and spreads 24 to 36 inches, so give it room. Rose flowers age to purple in late spring and early summer.

Pairs well with Mallow, Ostrich fern, and Snowberry.
