Notes
Water hyssop (Bacopa monnieri) is a perennial for containers, ground cover, and low maintenance gardens. It is hardy to USDA zone 8, or down to 10°F (-12°C). This plant likes full sun to part shade and average to wet, sandy, loamy, or clay soil. It forms a creeping mat of small, shiny, oval leaves. The small white flowers are often tinged with blue or pink. Deer tend to pass it by.
Pairs well with Buttonbush, Scarlet rose mallow, and Aster.
