Notes

Weeping fig (Ficus benjamina) is a tree for containers, specimen planting, and hedges. It grows outdoors year-round in USDA zone 10 and warmer, down to about 30°F (-1°C). In colder areas, grow it as a houseplant or bring it indoors for winter. This plant likes full sun to full shade and dry to moist soil of most types. It is evergreen and drought tolerant, and it grows at a moderate rate into a multi-trunked tree. Keep it away from pets, since it is toxic to them.

Pairs well with Indian-hawthorn, Bird of paradise, Mondo grass, and Australian tree fern.
