Notes

'White Excelsior' lily (Lilium 'White Excelsior') is a bulb for borders, cut flowers, containers, and cottage gardens. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full or part sun and average moisture. The white flowers have a green midrib and a sweet fragrance. They open from early to late summer and attract butterflies, hummingbirds, and birds.

Pairs well with Alexander Fleming peony, Standing Ovation little bluestem, and Black-eyed Susan.
