Notes
White fringed orchid (Platanthera blephariglottis) is a perennial for meadow gardens, containers, and low maintenance beds. It is hardy to USDA zone 4, or down to -30°F (-34°C). This plant likes full or part sun and moist to wet, sandy soil. Its pure white flowers have a deeply fringed lip petal. The species name comes from Greek and means fringe-tongued. Butterflies visit the blooms.
