Notes
'Wild Swan' anemone (Anemone 'Wild Swan') is a perennial for borders, cut flowers, and cottage gardens. It is hardy to USDA zone 6, or down to -10°F (-23°C). This plant likes full or part sun and average to moist, sandy, loamy, or clay soil. It is not a favorite of deer or rabbits, though hungry ones will eat almost anything. Flowers appear over a long season from late spring into fall, and butterflies and bees visit them. The deep green foliage forms neat mounds, and the plant does not spread.
Pairs well with Karl Foerster feather reed grass, Purple top, and Miss willmott's ghost.
