Notes

Miss willmott's ghost (Eryngium giganteum) is a perennial for borders and low maintenance gardens. It is hardy to USDA zone 4, or down to -30°F (-34°C). This plant likes full sun and dry to average, sandy or loamy soil. It bears bluish-silver flowers from early to late summer, and butterflies and bees visit the blooms. Deer and rabbits tend to browse other plants first. It is also drought tolerant.

Pairs well with Cat mint, Gladiator ornamental onion, Blue grama, and Pink Drift rose.
