Notes
Woodruff (Asperula gussonii) is a low perennial. It is hardy to USDA zone 5, or down to -20°F (-29°C). This plant likes full sun and dry to average soil. Pinkish white flowers appear in late spring and early summer. Deer tend to browse other plants first. It grows about 3 inches tall and spreads 6 to 9 inches, so give it room to form a small mat.
Pairs well with Woolly yarrow, Rock rose, and Blue grama.
