Notes

Yellow flag (Iris pseudata) is a perennial for rain gardens, pond edges, and borders. It is hardy to USDA zone 4, or down to -30°F (-34°C). This plant likes full or part sun. It blooms in early to late summer, and hummingbirds and bees visit the yellow flowers. It can grow in standing water or in normal garden soil. Rabbits rarely make it their first choice.

Pairs well with Tree peony, Snowdrop, and Horsetail.
