Notes
Yellow pimpernel (Taenidia integerrima) is a perennial for low maintenance gardens. It is hardy to USDA zone 4, or down to -30°F (-34°C). This plant likes part sun and dry, sandy, loamy, or clay soil. Yellow flowers appear in spring and again in summer. Butterflies and bees visit the blooms. The compound leaves have untoothed leaflets, and the plant is drought tolerant.
Pairs well with Wild geranium, Eastern bottlebrush grass, and Jack in the pulpit.
