Notes

Yerba mansa (Anemopsis californica) is a perennial for low maintenance gardens and ground cover. It is hardy to USDA zone 7, or down to 0°F (-18°C). This plant likes full or part sun and moist to wet soil of most types. Its stems root as they grow along the surface and form a solid mat, and the plant gives off a unique fragrance on warm days. It sits low on the menu for deer. You can give it room to spread.

Pairs well with Water forget-me-not, Kermesina blue flag, and Bee's primrose.
