Notes

'Zydeco Fire' zinnia (Zinnia marylandica 'Zydeco Fire') is an annual for borders, containers, cut flowers, and pollinator gardens. Frost will kill it, so set it out only after the last frost in spring. This plant likes full or part sun and average to moist, sandy, loamy, or clay soil. It grows in an erect habit at a moderate pace. Butterflies and bees visit the blooms, and the plant tolerates drought.

Pairs well with Tidal Wave Silver petunia, Lantana, and Peter Pan agapanthus.
