Notes

African mallow (Anisodontea capensis) is a shrub for borders, containers, cottage gardens, and hedges. It is hardy to USDA zone 8, or down to 10°F (-12°C). This plant likes full or part sun and dry to average, sandy or loamy soil. It has pink to red blooms that draw butterflies and bees. The evergreen foliage stays green all year, and the plant grows at a rapid rate.
