Notes

'Albiflora' common blue violet (Viola sororia 'Albiflora') is a perennial for borders, cottage gardens, ground cover, and shade gardens. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full sun to full shade and average to wet, sandy, loamy, or clay soil. It grows in a clump at a rapid rate and blooms in spring and again in summer. Deer tend to browse other plants first. Butterflies, bees, and birds visit it.

Pairs well with Eastern columbine, Carlton daffodil, and Standing Ovation little bluestem.
