Notes

'Album' potato vine (Solanum laxum 'Album') is a cascading vine for containers, cottage gardens, and borders, and it also works as a specimen. It grows outdoors year-round in USDA zone 10 and warmer, down to about 30°F (-1°C). In colder areas, grow it as a houseplant or bring it indoors for winter. This plant likes full or part sun and average to moist soil of most types. Its fragrant flowers appear in summer and again in autumn, and hummingbirds and birds visit them. Deer tend to browse other plants first. Growth is rapid, so give it a sturdy support.

Pairs well with Black-eyed Susan vine, Pineapple sage, Break Out dahlia, and Moonflower.
