Notes
'Break Out' dahlia (Dahlia 'Break Out') is a bulb for borders, cut flowers, containers, and pollinator gardens. It is hardy to USDA zone 8, or down to 10°F (-12°C). This plant likes full or part sun and average to moist, sandy, loamy, or clay soil. It grows about 47 to 59 inches tall and blooms from early to late summer and again in autumn. Butterflies, hummingbirds, and bees visit the flowers, and all parts are toxic to dogs and cats.
Pairs well with Montbretia, Black-eyed Susan, and Sneezeweed.
