Notes
'Alexander'S Great' Siberian bugloss (Brunnera macrophylla 'Alexander'S Great') is a perennial for shade gardens, woodland gardens, borders, and ground cover. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes part sun to full shade and average to moist soil of most types. It forms a clumping mound up to 24 inches tall and 24 to 36 inches wide, and bees visit the blooms in spring and again in summer. It sits low on the menu for deer and rabbits. Give each clump room to spread.
Pairs well with Minuteman hosta, Blue wood aster, and Limelight Prime panicle hydrangea.
