Notes
'Limelight Prime' panicle hydrangea (Hydrangea paniculata 'Limelight Prime') is a shrub for borders, specimens, hedges, and cut flowers. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full or part sun and average to wet, sandy, loamy, or clay soil. It blooms earlier than the original Limelight, and the fragrant flowers age from green to white, pink, and red. Cut some for a dried flower display in autumn. Deer tend to pass it by.
Pairs well with Big Daddy hosta, Western sword fern, American hornbeam, and Little Beauty tulip.
