Notes

'Almost Black' dotleaf waterlily (Nymphaea 'Almost Black') is a perennial for containers and low maintenance water gardens. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full or part sun and moist, loamy or clay soil. The flowers are fragrant and attract bees. Plants spread wide, so give each one plenty of room.

Pairs well with Sagae hosta, Canada wild rye, and Bush honeysuckle.
