Notes
'Sagae' hosta (Hosta 'Sagae') is a perennial for shade gardens, borders, containers, and ground cover. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes part sun to full shade and average to moist, loamy or clay soil. Lavender flowers attract hummingbirds, bees, and butterflies. Deer and rabbits tend to browse other plants first. Its variegated leaves form an upright clump.
Pairs well with Aureola Japanese forest grass, Red baneberry, and Astilbe.
