Notes

'Always Afternoon' daylily (Hemerocallis 'Always Afternoon') is a perennial for borders, pollinator gardens, and containers. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full or part sun and dry to moist, loamy, clay, or chalky soil. Rabbits rarely make it their first choice. Butterflies, hummingbirds, bees, and birds visit it, and the blooms are fragrant. It also tolerates drought and salt.

Pairs well with Magnus coneflower, Inca Gold yarrow, and Hardy geranium.
