Notes

'Ambassador' canna (Canna hybrida 'Ambassador') is a perennial for borders, containers, accents, and privacy screens. It is hardy to USDA zone 8, or down to 10°F (-12°C). This plant likes full or part sun and average to wet soil of most types. Butterflies, hummingbirds, bees, and birds come to this plant. Deer and rabbits usually look elsewhere for a meal. It grows 59 to 71 inches tall in a clump, so it works well at the back of a bed.

Pairs well with Montbretia, Red-hot poker, and Coneflower.
