Notes

'American Heritage' rose (Rosa 'American Heritage') is a shrub for borders, cut flowers, and cottage gardens. It is hardy to USDA zone 6, or down to -10°F (-23°C). This plant likes full sun and loamy or clay soil. The tall, bushy plant has dark green leaves and fragrant yellow blend blooms. Flowers open in late spring, again in summer, and into early autumn. Bees visit them, and Dr. Walter E. Lammerts bred it in 1965.

Pairs well with Purple Coneflower coneflower, False indigo, and Indian grass.
