Notes

'Ruby' rose (Rosa 'Ruby') is a shrub for borders, containers, cottage gardens, and cut flowers. It is hardy to USDA zone 5, or down to -20°F (-29°C). This plant likes full sun and loamy or clay soil. Dark red, fragrant blooms open in late spring, early to late summer, and early autumn. Bees visit the flowers. Frank A. Benardella bred it.

Pairs well with Clary sage, Lily, and Lilac.
