Notes
'Amerspirzam' crabapple (Malus 'Amerspirzam') is a tree for use as a specimen. It is hardy to USDA zone 4, or down to -30°F (-34°C). This plant likes full sun and average moisture. In mid spring, it covers itself in rose-red blooms. It grows 15 to 18 feet tall and wide, so give it plenty of open space. Plant it where its wide crown can be seen from many sides.
Pairs well with Princeton Sentry maidenhair tree, Purrsian Blue nepeta, and Gladiator ornamental onion.
