Notes

'Purrsian Blue' nepeta (Nepeta faassenii 'Purrsian Blue') is a perennial for borders and low maintenance gardens. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full or part sun and dry to average soil of most types. Deer and rabbits rarely make it their first choice. Periwinkle blue flowers with dark purple calyces open in late spring, summer, and autumn. Butterflies, hummingbirds, and bees visit the fragrant blooms.

Pairs well with Iris, Carnation, Panicle hydrangea, and Tall fescue.
