Notes

'Amherst' rose (Rosa 'Amherst') is a compact shrub for borders, cottage gardens, containers, and cut flowers. It is hardy to USDA zone 6, or down to -10°F (-23°C). This plant likes full sun and loamy or clay soil. White blooms are fragrant and appear from early to late summer. Bees visit the flowers. L. Pernille Olesen and Mogens Nyegaard Olesen bred it in 2003.

Pairs well with Karl Foerster feather reed grass, Nelly Moser clematis, and Creeping thyme.
