Notes

'Ancilla' tulip (Tulipa 'Ancilla') is a bulb for borders, containers, cottage gardens, and cut flowers. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full sun, average moisture, and sandy, loamy, or chalky soil. The flowers are pink flushed with red and open from early to late spring. It stays short at 6 to 9 inches tall, so plant it near the front of a bed.

Pairs well with Thalia daffodil, Bridal Bouquet peony, and Delphinium.
