Notes

'Arbatax' lily (Lilium 'Arbatax') is a perennial for borders, cut flowers, containers, and cottage gardens. It is hardy to USDA zone 4, or down to -30°F (-34°C). This plant likes full or part sun and average to moist soil of most types. The fragrant brown-purple flowers open from early to late summer on stems up to about 59 inches tall. Butterflies, hummingbirds, and bees visit the blooms. Vletter en den Haan Beheer B.V. bred it.

Pairs well with Ostfriesland sage, Globe thistle, and Russian sage.
