Notes

'Arctic Blue' rose (Rosa 'Arctic Blue') is a shrub for borders, cottage gardens, cut flowers, and specimen plantings. It is hardy to USDA zone 5, or down to -20°F (-29°C). This plant likes full or part sun and dry, loamy or clay soil. The mauve blooms age to lavender blue with cream reverses and open in clusters with a fruity to citrusy fragrance. It reblooms and is drought tolerant. Christian Bedard bred it, and bees visit the flowers.

Pairs well with Six Hills Giant nepeta, Heavy Metal switchgrass, Millenium ornamental onion, and Elfin mother of thyme.
