Notes

'Artist' tulip (Tulipa 'Artist') is a bulb for borders, containers, and cottage gardens. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full or part sun, average moisture, and sandy, loamy, or chalky soil. It blooms in early to late spring and grows about 12 inches tall. Plant it in groups for the best show, and it also does well in pots.

Pairs well with Valerie Finnis Armenian grape hyacinth, Jack Frost Siberian bugloss, and Album grape hyacinth.
