Notes

'Atlantic' strawberry tree (Arbutus unedo 'Atlantic') is a shrub for specimen planting, hedges, privacy screens, and winter interest. It is hardy to USDA zone 7, or down to 0°F (-18°C). This plant likes full or part sun and dry to moist, sandy, loamy, or clay soil. It stays dense and evergreen, but it grows slowly. Bees and birds visit it, and it blooms in autumn and winter. It tolerates drought and salt.

Pairs well with Common holly, Christmas fern, Prairie dropseed, and Spurge.
