Notes
'Autumn Bliss' raspberry (Rubus idaeus 'Autumn Bliss') is a shrub for food gardens, hedges, and pollinator gardens. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full or part sun and average to moist, sandy, loamy, or clay soil. The dark red fruit is sweet and aromatic, and it ripens from late summer until first frost. The short, sturdy canes need little support. It sits low on the menu for deer.
Pairs well with Black chokeberry, Incrediball Storm Proof smooth hydrangea, and Cytherea peony.
