Notes
'Autumn Bride' hairy alum root (Heuchera villosa 'Autumn Bride') is a perennial for borders, pollinator gardens, and woodland gardens. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full or part sun and dry to moist soil. White flowers open in spring, summer, and autumn, and bees visit them. The evergreen mounds grow 18 to 36 inches tall. Deer and rabbits tend to pass it by.
Pairs well with Eastern columbine, Sedge, Western sword fern, and Incrediball Storm Proof smooth hydrangea.
