Notes

'Autumn Joy' sedum (Hylotelephium 'Herbstfreude') is a succulent for borders, rock gardens, pollinator gardens, and containers. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full or part sun and dry to moist, sandy or loamy soil. Pink to red flowers open in early to late autumn and draw butterflies, bees, and birds. Deer tend to pass it by. The green to bronze leaves stay on the plant through the year.

Pairs well with Magnus coneflower and Prairie dropseed.
