Notes

'Vera Jameson' october daphne (Hylotelephium 'Vera Jameson') is a perennial for borders, rock gardens, containers, and pollinator gardens. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full sun and dry to average, sandy or loamy soil. Dusky pink flowers appear in early to late summer and early to late autumn, and they attract butterflies, bees, and birds. It is not a favorite of deer, though hungry deer will eat almost anything. This drought tolerant evergreen stays 9 to 12 inches tall and wide.

Pairs well with Woolly yarrow, Blue grama, and Limeglow creeping juniper.
