Notes

'Matrona' october daphne (Hylotelephium 'Matrona') is a perennial for borders, pollinator gardens, rock gardens, and containers. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full sun and dry to average, sandy or loamy soil. It blooms in early to late summer and again in early to late autumn, and butterflies, bees, and birds visit it. Deer tend to browse other plants first. It tolerates drought, so it suits dry spots.

Pairs well with Blanket flower, Blonde Ambition blue grama, and Mugo pine.
