Notes

'Avalon' daffodil (Narcissus 'Avalon') is a bulb for borders, cut flowers, containers, and cottage gardens. It is hardy to USDA zone 4, or down to -30°F (-34°C). This plant likes full or part sun, average moisture, and sandy, loamy, or clay soil. Mrs H.K. Richardson bred it, and the mid-season flowers have brilliant yellow petals with a cup that matures to white. Bees and butterflies visit the fragrant blooms. Deer and rabbits tend to pass it by.

Pairs well with Karl Rosenfield peony, Blue fescue, and Balloon flower.
