Notes

'Avandel' rose (Rosa 'Avandel') is a shrub for borders, containers, cottage gardens, and cut flowers. It is hardy to USDA zone 6, or down to -10°F (-23°C). This plant likes full sun and loamy or clay soil. The compact, bushy plant stays about 14 inches tall and has few or no prickles. Its fragrant pink and yellow blooms attract bees. Ralph S. Moore bred it in 1977.

Pairs well with Amsonia, Dense blazing star, and Casa Blanca lily.
