Notes
'Axel Kahn' rose (Rosa 'Axel Kahn') is a shrub for borders, cottage gardens, cut flowers, and specimen planting. It is hardy to USDA zone 5, or down to -20°F (-29°C). This plant likes full sun and loamy or clay soil. The bushy plant grows about 47 to 59 inches tall with dark green leaves. Fragrant medium red blooms open from early to late summer and attract bees. Jerome Rateau bred it in 2013.
Pairs well with Amsonia, Dense blazing star, and Little bluestem.
