Notes

'Baggesen' honeysuckle (Lonicera ligustrina 'Baggesen') is a shrub for borders, hedges, and naturalized areas. It is hardy to USDA zone 7, or down to 0°F (-18°C). This plant likes full or part sun and dry to moist, sandy, loamy, or clay soil. The arching branches carry fragrant flowers in early to late spring and again in early to late summer. Deer tend to pass it by. It also tolerates drought and salt, so it suits tough sites.

Pairs well with Common milkweed, Purple top, and Mondo grass.
