Notes

'Ballycastle' daffodil (Narcissus 'Ballycastle') is a bulb for borders, cut flowers, containers, and cottage gardens. It is hardy to USDA zone 4, or down to -30°F (-34°C). This plant likes full or part sun, average moisture, and sandy, loamy, or clay soil. The white flowers are fragrant and have a greenish white cup with an orange frilled rim. Bees and butterflies visit the blooms. It is not a favorite of deer or rabbits, though hungry ones will eat almost anything.

Pairs well with Lily of the valley, Sedge, Bowl of Beauty peony, and Star magnolia.
