'Banana Split' sedum (Sedum 'Banana Split') is a perennial for borders, mass plantings, rock gardens, and containers. It is hardy to USDA zone 4, or down to -30°F (-34°C). This plant likes full or part sun. Its blue-green leaves have a burgundy tint and grow on red stems. Flat clusters of creamy white and yellow flowers open in late summer and fall. Bees and butterflies visit them.
Pairs well with May Night salvia, Buffalo grass, and Snowbrush.
